Ms. L's Solace

     Over a decade ago - i met a kindred spirit that lived in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is deeply connected spirituality, loves nature & poses a wisdom many don't have anymore. Over the years, the emails, phone conversations and brief weekends together roaming her gardens, we have become good friends. I consider her a mentor. I love listening to her proverbs and stories that leave you left in thought for hours later.
     The butterflies swarm to her, dead things flourish once her hands touch them, birds, rodents, amphibians do not scare when she walks by - unlike how they scatter with me. There's just a gentleness about her… Here's her little piece of heaven...

     I will post more of her garden tomorrow. I spent most of the day out there today with her collecting new flora to bring back to the carolina's with me. Tomorrow afternoon I start my way back up the coast. Tonight will be bittersweet for Me, Ms. L. & her pup, KoKo. I am currently at the one star restaurant, Burger King, posting to my blog… bag full of double cheese burgers at my side for Ko, Ms. L and myself! ...Till tomorrow...
